Production: JPM has state-of the-art production facilities, both in India and Bangladesh.

India: JPM has a production capacity of 2,00,000 knitted garments and 2,00,000 woven garments per month. JPM manufactures under a centralized unit, spread over an area of 5000 square meters. All operations of auto CAD, sample preparation, storage, stitching, finishing, packing and quality control are centralized under one roof. Apart from this unit, JPM also operates in various satellite units spread over a total area of 3000 square meters, divided among 10 units situated on the outskirts of Kolkata. The main purpose of these units is to fulfill JPM’s share of corporate social responsibility through rural upliftment.

Bangladesh: JPM has a production capacity of 3,00,000 knitted garments and 2,00,000 woven garments per month. JPM has set up a dedicated office in Bangladesh, fully manned with 50 trained experts from India. This office handpicks partner facilities for large scale production and ensures JPM standards of quality and reliability.

Corporate Office: JPM conducts all its operations of merchandising, marketing, sales, accounts, human resources, IT and admin from its corporate office, a newly constructed energy efficient premise (a LEED Platinum level certified building by the U.S. Green Building Council) of 900 square meters which is fully equipped with great support systems to create a world class work environment situated in the central business district of Kolkata.

Other offices: JPM has its operations spread out in various countries to achieve cost leadership in the industry. For better co-ordination of our multi-country operations, JPM has set up offices in Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Shanghai (China) to:

  • control end-to-end supply chain and quality for our operations in Bangladesh
  • control all purchase operations in China

JPM also has an office in Bhilwara, Rajasthan, one of the textile hubs of India.

IT & Systems: JPM has invested in an ERP customized for garments manufacturing which is known as World Fashion Exchange in order to integrate all activities and transactions of the company and make the all processes system-driven. At JPM, we exercise complete process mapping in order to identify and eliminate wasteful processes and develop robust systems to ensure better planning and decision making and clear accountability of every commitment made.
